Read the fine print!

In one version of The Delivery Game, Macy’s offers "BONUS SET-UP of your new bedding upon delivery." Unfortunately, the fine print reads:

"ADD $40.00 FOR DELIVERY." (Then, your "BONUS SET-UP" takes place.)

Wait, there’s more.

"Removal of old bedding is $40.00 extra."

Another variation of The Delivery Game is employed by one of the area’s largest discount bedding chains. They offer "Free Delivery on Full, Queen or King Size Mattress sets." Of course, there is a disclaimer excluding loss leaders (those items priced to draw attention but are rarely actually  sold and/or delivered), twin-size bed sets, and other items advertised at prices too low for free offers to apply. If free offers are truly free offers, shouldn’t they always apply? Of course they should! Once the cost for the free offers are factored into the selling price of those items, those incredible prices would be much higher.

That’s what makes those incredible prices literally INCREDIBLE!
